I'm so glad that Dion is feeling better. During the weekend my poor buddy had a fever. We woke up Saturday at 4 AM to a crying baby D and he was burning up. We gave him tylenol and took his temperature and it was 104.1!!! It slowly dropped down to 99.9 in about an hour..Then he went to sleep and all was well.
That night Dion went to sleep with Grandma over at her house so we could get some extra sleep. Sunday at 4 AM (4 must be his favorite number or something..haha) We got a phone call from Grandma that he had a fever of 102.4. He was crying non-stop and acting groggy and not his silly, smiley self.So to the E.R we went..
Everything was fine..well if you ask Dion he'd probably babble a story of mean ladies sticking things up his butt! They checked his ears and throat for any infection and ruled that out. They took his temperature twice..which went from 101.7 to 98.7 with Infant Motrin. Turns out it was just his teething and the directions on the Infant Tylenol were confusing and had us giving him the wrong dosage of medicine. We decided to switch him to Motrin which has faster relief for him.
So glad and thankful that nothing was wrong. Just your regular ol' teething- of three teeth at one time. Two of his teeth finished coming in on Monday and he has one more to go. 7 almost..8 teeth down!
